Thai Past Tense

The word “leu” (pronouced layoh) is added at the end of a sentence to make it past tense. So much simpler than having to conjugate verbs.

have = mi
had = mi leu (mee layoh)
speak = pud (pood)
spoke = pud leu
come= ma
came= ma leu
go = pai
gone = pai leu
