This is Ling Lom's first fight for Rawai Muay Thai camp. He wins by decision after five rounds.

Daniel Barber

This was a rematch with the same opponent as Daniel's previous fight on June 4, 2010. This time around Daniel was sick with the flu and was weaker and lost by decision.

Charlotte

This is Charlotte's very first fight. She was paired against a more experienced boxer, Amy from Cherngtalay Muay Thai. The fight was close but the referees awarded the win to Amy.

Yud

Yud fought against Michael from Naiharn Boxing Club. Michael is from Chiang Mai and has fought in Lumpini before. Yud won by referee stopage in round 4.

Bird

Bird is new to Rawai Muay Thai camp. He fought well for 2 rounds but got tired as the fight went on and lost by decision.

Yan

Yan is 14 years old and has fought about 50 times already. He won easilly in round 1 by TKO.

Mirelle: 25 June 2010

Mirelle is 37 years old. She's from Melbourne and trained at Rawai for about a month. She won by TKO in round 3.

Boss

Boss' fight was the main event of the evening. He won by decision against a boxer from Sit-O-Inter gym in Patong.

Preston

Two years ago Preston & Chaiyo fought a close match, Preston losing by decision. This time Preston suffers a quick TKO in Round 1 (elbow). He got 12 stitches in the forehead.

Maureen

This is Maureen's very first fight. She trained only 3 weeks. In fact both are first timers and put on a good fight, very fun and exciting, lots of screaming and my throat is still sore!

Pom

Pom meets his match in this older and a bit taller boy from Ao Po, in East Phuket. Pom lost by decision.

Rambo

Rambo is 9 years old and fought against a 12 year old boy. Rambo was not his usual, confident self and lost by decision.

Nom

Nom wins by KO in round 2. Nom starts off strong and wins quickly. He seemed pretty pleased with the result. I took off the Mongkol (head amulet), could that have had something to do with it?

Nongaew

This is Nongaew's first fight. She was paired up against the stadium doctor, Mo Ann, who has fought many times. Nongaew took many hits the first couple of rounds but turned it around and managed to win by decision, after 4 rounds.

Pan

Pan is a new fighter at Rawai Muay Thai camp. He is skilled and experienced. In this fight, his opponent didn't want to continue after the second round and lost by forfeit.

Daniel

Daniel goes the distance and wins the Bangla belt by decision in this dramatic and entertaining fight. His opponent was removed from the ring in a stretcher and received 10 stitches for a cut in his forehead.

Gerri

Gerri wins her 17th fight. It was a close one. Going into the last round it was 50/50. Gerri managed to push Yodnampet around a bit more and received the decision.

Sitrak is a trainer at Rawai Muay Thai gym. He clearly was better than his opponent and the referee stopped the bout in the fourth round.

Kris Luther

Kris took on Nassee from Tiger Muay Thai. Nasse used to teach at Rawai years back. He has fought hundreds of times. This was only Kris' 12th fight, but being taller and a bit heavier, he had a chance. Nasee however stopped Kris in the second round winning by KO.

Yan

Yan is only 13 years old but has over 30 fights experience. He looks younger than he is because he's so small and skinny. He wins again at Bangla Stadium.

Pom

Pom just started training at Rawai Muay Thai Camp. He is 14 years old and this is his third fight. He wins by first round KO.

Nom

Nom has more than 70 fights experience. He is considered one of the hardest working boxers in the gym but in his fights he sometimes underachieves. In this fight he was the underdog throughout, with bookies betting against him with 15-1 odds yet he managed to win by KO in round 5. Well done Nom!

Boss

Boss participated in an 8-man "marathon" tournament in Bangla stadium. Boxers from the major gyms on the island were in attendance. Boss has a very close fight. Towards the end of the third round his corner was gesturing for him to back down, a miscalculation as it turns out, since he lost by points decision. The winners of the first four fights went on to fight again in the semis and the last two in the final.

Matt

This is only Matt's second fight. He was nervous about fighting a bigger guy but showed no fear in the ring and won by KO in round 2. Well done Matt!

Rambo

Rambo is just 8 years old but is fast become an experienced boxer. He wins again at Bangla stadium, just 9 days after his previous fight. In the video clip you can see Francois, from Baan Muay Thai gym in Jakarta, taking off the Mongkol..

Mathieu

This is Mathieu's first Muay Thai fight. He was doing alright up until the end of round 2 when his tired opponent struck him with an elbow which resulted in a KO. ironically, Mathieu was the clear favorite among the bookies, 20-1 odds.

Dawood

Dawood tried hard but ran out of steam in the third round and lost by TKO.

Yan

Yan is 12 years old and has over 25 fights experience. This fight is the third between these boxers: Yan lose the first match, but won the second and third encounters.

This is Gerri's 16th fight. She fought at Naiharn, under the stars. It was a nice atmosphere, with many locals coming to watch the fights. Gerri won by decision.

Gerri was schedule fo a rematch against heather O'Donnell from Australia, Gerri having won their first encounter. Heather pulled out of the fight due to illness.

Hehm

Hehm has not fought in over 3 years. He's been abroad with his wife and parent's in law working in at the Farmers Arms in Cwmdu, Wales. He's back at Rawai, now and ready to get back in shape! He managed to keep his opponent at bay with fast front kicks and dangerous elbows.

Chris

This is Chris' second fight for Rawai Camp. He did well in round 1 but in round 2 he lost by TKO from low kicks. This fight is a good example of why it's important to block the kicks with your shins.

Chai

Chai is 13 years old and is a resident boxer in the camp. His Dad, Sod, is a trainer at Rawai camp and also has a daughter who likes to box as well. Boxing runs in the family. In this fight, Chai has an uphill battle but manages to win in the end!

Boss:

Boss fought in Surat Thani province against a tough opponent. He won the fight but was cut from an elbow strike. You can see in the picture his bold spot where the stitches are. He is next fighting in Koh Samui on April 30.

Rambo is a young resident boxer at the gym. he is only 8 years old but if fast becoming an experienced boxer. He goes the distance in this last fight but lost a close one, by points decision.

This was Matt's first fight and he did not seem nervous at all. He bulldozed his way through the first round and won by KO.

Boss

On the morning of th fight, Bangla Stadium promoter asked if Boss could fill in for an injured boxer. A joke? No... he was serious. Boss has been training hard and is very tired but why not? That night he won a very close fight against a worthy opponent. Well done Boss!

Trevor

This is Trevor's first Muay Thai fight. It was exciting and fun and he won by KO in Round 2.Both boxers were cut and receivedf stiches after the fight.

Dawud is a young Thai fighter at Rawai Camp. In this fight he wins by Knock Out in round 2, with some heavy knees.

Yan is one of our young Thai fighters resident at the camp. He has about 25 fights experience and is only 12 years old. In this fight he starts out slow but makes a comeback in round 4 and ekes out a draw.

Lev lost a close fight by points. Tuk says it was 50/50 at the start of the 5th Round and his opponent managed to kick a few times more to make the difference.

Gerri goes up against a younger and taller opponent from WMC camp in Koh Samui. Against the odds, Gerri beats her, winning by points decision. At the end of the fight the referee whispered to Cha Cha who was taking video of the fight... "Gerri too strong!"

Nom is called at the last minute to step in the ring and wins with a lovely right hook in the second round.

Singdam got injured in the first round and couldn't kick with his left leg but still managed to win against a larger opponent.

Jom is 36 years old and thought he would give it a go again at a fight, for fun. Although the technique is there, the strength is not and he lost by referee stopage in round 2.

This was a close fight but Nom fell a bit short, losing by points.

Unlike his brothers, Tuk, Fin and Hehm, who have hundreds of fights experience, this is only the third fight for Lee. It was a close one but he doesn't do enough to win.

Kak took Sid's place and fought well, without much preparation, against a French fighter of Sing Patong gym. Kak won by KO in the fourth round. Unfortunately there is no video of the fight. Sorry!

Namwan: 4 March 2010

Namwan's fight was cancelled. Her opponent, Sao Lor called in sick the night of the fight. The fight will be rescheduled.

Chris, Scotland: 4 March 2010

This is Chris' 7th Muay Thai fight. He was originally scheduled to fight against a boxer from Dragon Muay Thai but he pulled out at the last minute (after seeing Chris in the stadium!). Luckilly a boxer from Tiger stepped in. Although it was his first fight he did very well and went 5 rounds against Chris.

13 year old Singdam was shaky at the beginning, but got stronger as the fight went on. He won by points decision.

Junior got hurt early on in the fight, from an elbow blow to the left eyebrow, but managed to stay strong and win this tough fight by points decision.

Daniel fought in Koh Samui, Chaweng Stadium. He lost by 2 round TKO, from low kicks. He said in all his fighting career, he's never felt low kicks like that.

Boss fought the main event in Chaweng Stadium in Koh Samui. He was doing well up to the 4th round, when he was push to the ropes and flipped over and hurt his back. After that he was not able to do much and his opponent took advantage of the situation. Boss lost the fight on points.

This was Matthew's first fight. He was matched- up against a French boxer fighting out of O-Inter gym in Patong. The French boxer looked experienced and was bigger but Matthew still put up a good fight.

James fought in Koh Lanta Stadium, in Krabi Province. To get to Koh Lanta you drive South, past Krabi and into the pier where yout ake two jetties. It's a 5 hour drive from Phuket. James lost the fight on points.
