Gerri from England

This was a rematch between Gerri and Amy from Cherntalay Gym. Although the bookies were betting in Gerri's favor, the referees awarded the fight to Amy causing great havoc and bewilderment in the crowd. Tuk was incredulous and angry at the referees. So angry that he canceled his upcoming fight in Bangla.

Tuk from Thailand
30 December 2009
This is Tuk's first fight in almost 4 years. His last fight was in the Gold Coast, Australia, against Andrew Keogh on March 11, 2006. He won that foint on points. This time his opponent is a 17 year old boxer, fitter and faster, but Tuk still managed to win with a left elbow blow in the 4th round. Tuk was fighting with a torn right calf muscle and the doctor recommended 6-8 weeks rest. I guess he can rest now!

Petsila from Thailand

This was a rematch fight. Pestila won their previous encounter. This time Petsila lost by KO in round 4. While still in the ring, he whispered in my ear: "no more fights for me, I'm done." I replied " it's OK Petsila! You've fought enough". |

Petsila's opponent, won the fight, but was not unscathed.

Kris trained two days for this fight. He was a last minute addition to the fight card and he did well, going five rounds and wining another belt!

Yud from Thailand

This was the most exciting fight of the night.
Yud was up against a taller French boxer fighting out of Sing Patong gym. As the fight progressed the French boxer's chances improved. It was close and came down to the scorecards.
Yud prevailed!

Namwan from Thailand

This is the third time Namwan fights against Nongkarn. Namwan took a couple month's break and looked strong upon her return. She won every round and the referee stopped the action in Round 4, since she was far ahead in points. Namwan remains undefeated against Nongkarn.

Superbank from Thailand
14 December 2009
This is Superbank's first fight for Rawai Muay Thai Camp. In the second round his opponent took him down and broke his nose. After that he was overpowered every round until the referee stopped the fight.

Petmai from Thailand

This is Petmai's first fight for Rawai Muay Thai Camp. He was in control the whole time and won with an upper cut right elbow which knocked his opponent out. Pictured above are Petmai and Sophie. Thanks to Sophie for great photos of tonight's action.

This is Neisha's 7th fight for Rawai Muay Thai Camp. After 4 rounds the bookies were betting on her opponent 10-1. She had practically lost but in the last round she came around, harnessed all her strength and came out on top. Well done Neisha!

This is Annika's first fight for Rawai Muay Thai Camp. She has fought before, in Germany, but never with full Muay Thai rules. Her opponent came down from Bangkok for this fight. She has more experience, but Annika won with her fitness and heart. Funnest fight of the night.

Chris has been sick all week and debated whether to postpone the fight but decided to go through with it. Fed, his opponent, is strong and experienced and won by TKO in round 2.

Gerri from England.

This is Gerri's 10th fight. She fought against Yodnampet who is an experienced boxer. They went four rounds and Gerri won by points decision. She remains undefeated although not unscathed. In the fourth round, Gerri got cut in her eyebrow from an elbow and received 9 stitches after the fight.

This is Gaz' very first fight. The boxer he was originally paired up against had a motorbike accident and so Gaz when up against a better boxer. He put up a good fight but lost by points decision.

Sam came to Rawai Muay Thai after reading an article about Australian boxer Steen Holm in World Muay Thai Magazine. Sam was one of 5 Rawai boxers fighting on November 15th. All won their fights. Sam won by TKO round 3.

Heidi had not fought in two years and trained 3 weeks for this fight. Her opponent, Yodnampet is an experience Thai boxer. Heidi does well to go the full four rounds, but lost by points decision.

Nom was originally scheduled to fight on November 17, but his date was changed at the last minute and fought on the 13th (having ran and trained hard that day). Guess it worked for him since he won by KO in round 2.

This is James' second fight. His first was in Koh Phangan where he won by first round KO. This time he was matched up against a French boxer whose trainer told James he had fought 15 times. James won by second round KO.

Yud from Thailand.

After his success Down Under, Yud fights again, this time in Phuket. Yud gets hurt in the middle of the fight (knee to the heard) but manages to win convingcingly anyways. He wins a belt and a big trophy.

Kris Luther from England.

Kris was cut above his eye and was bleeding alot. Tuk wanted to throw in the towel after round 4, to save him from further injury but Kris insisted to let him keep going. The referees later commented to Tuk that after round 4 the fight was 50-50, meaning either boxer could win. Kris kneed a lot in the final round and managed to win this hard battle.

This is James first fight. he was paired up against Matthew, a boxer from France. Matthew is 80 Kilos and James is 68 Kilos. The fight was very short and Tuk has already scheduled James to fight again on September 8th, 2009.

Dam fought a more experienced boxer. He took a lot of low kicks but came back with the inside knees and won on TKO round 3.

Yud from Thailand.

Yut was paired up against Joe Concha from Full Force Gym. Joe elbow Yud hard in the eye in the second round and Yud was blinded for a couple of seconds buy managed to finish the round and went on to win the fight by point decision. Her brother, Chai also fights. Her father, Sod,
