We also have scooters for rent in the gym. They are automatic (no gears) and pretty easy to ride. We don’t recommend you rent a scooter, though, if you have never ridden one before. Thailand is not the place to learn to ride a scooter. It’s only recommended for experienced riders.
Please note: In Thailand motorbikes are not insured. If you lose it you are liable for the cost of the bike. Any damage to the bike will be the renter’s responsibility. If you have never ridden a motorbike before we do not recommend that you rent one in Thailand, s the roads can be tricky and bikes accidents are common.
