a celebration of the Thai New Year. It is the start of the wet season, a time

April 13th - Songkran Festival is the world's biggest water
fight. All of Thailand celebrates the Songkran festival with a massave water
fight. During the Songkran festival the streets are lined with 1000's people
armed with buckets of water, they are ready to spash every one that passes
bye ( locals & tourists! ). Between Sunrise & Sunset expect to get
wet if you venture out doors during the Songkran Festival
