Rawai Muay Thai Camp is proud to be the first and only Muay Thai Boxing gym in Thailand to be mentioned in the new Lonely Planet guide of Phuket Island called Phuket Encounter. Setting the trend back in 2003, Rawai Muay Thai Camp was the first Muay Thai Boxing gym in Phuket to open it doors to non-fighters and tourists who wanted to have a Muay Thai Boxing / Fitness training holiday and benefit from weight loss and improved fitness.
Everyone said it would never work and the gym would be closed within a year but here we are almost 6 years later as the number 1 Muay Thai Boxing Camp in Southern Thailand for training foreign Muay Thai students. There are now 15 Muay Thai/ MMA camps in Phuket which train foreign students.
Now teaching at Rawai Camp is the famous Muay Thai star Namsaknoi, the Emperor. Below are some archival magazine photos.
